We really enjoyed our stay at Elua 701.  The location on Wailea beach is perfect as it just a 2 minute walk down to the ocean.  All of the big hotel resorts are just a short walk away, available for spa services and top rated restaurants. We especially liked Ferraro’s at the Four Seasons. Also, Island Gourmet Market at The Shops of Wailea is very close and has lots of prepared foods that are perfect for condo stays. 

The condo was well stocked with all of the dishes, utensils, bar ware and cooking tools you will need.  Everything else in the condo was first rate and can’t think of anything that we needed that was not available. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai overlooking the ocean where we ate many of our breakfasts and lunches.  The lanai also had two chaise lounges that were great for reading or naps. 

The property was beautifully maintained. The property has two pools and a tennis/pickleball court. We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the pool.  We found that Randy was very easy to deal with and that he provided lots of great information about the condo and the local activities and restaurants.  But you really won’t want to leave the Condo other than to eat.

This vacation rental exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, communication with Randy was excellent from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.

The unit itself was stunning, boasting beautiful island décor and ocean views. It was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Location-wise, it doesn't get much better than this. Situated within walking distance to both the beach and the shops at Wailea. We enjoyed walks along the beach path in the morning, heading up from the beach for lunch in the afternoon, and in the evenings we enjoyed probably the best sunset spot on the island at the gated lookout area!

Having stayed at several condos in the Wailea area previously, this rental stood out as one of the best. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be checking its availability for our next trip. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable vacation experience.

We have been fortunate to have visited many of the Hawaiian islands over the past 25 years and Maui is our favorite.  Additionally, Wailea Elua Village is our go or no-go spot, i.e. if a unit we like is not available, we do not go.  That being said, we have stayed at several different units in Elua Village but none of them hold a candle to Elua 701.  We are so happy we found it and it helped make our vacation fantastic from start to finish.

Communication with the owners is a breeze.  Randy is a gem to deal with and is extremely prompt and thorough with his information.  The payment process is clear and straight-forward, as are the instructions for checking in and out.  It is so easy.  Local help with regard to the condo (if needed) is only a phone call away and Randy and Julie even provide a binder with area information, including recommendations for food and activities very thoughtfully broken out into price points.  

The condo itself is exceptional with high-end quality products and finishes.  The owners provide every little and big thing you could think of needing and their pride in the unit is clearly evident.  It is impeccably clean, extremely well cared-for and nothing is dirty, dingy or worn.  My husband thought we were the unit’s first renters because there were not any spots or stains anywhere.  The furniture and beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were soft and clean and the unit was free of odors, including the ‘masking’ smell some cleaning products purposely produce.  The bedrooms, living room and kitchen all have whisper quiet ceiling fans and an additional bonus are push-button room darkening shades in the bedrooms, ensuring a restful sleep.  There is ample closet space in the bedrooms and the closets themselves are organized with a professional storage system and plenty of quality wood hangers.  The owners have even thought to provide hand-held magnifying mirrors in each bathroom, something I really appreciate.

The view from the condo and lanai is fantastic and we spent every morning at the bistro table enjoying coffee and every evening enjoying an adult beverage.  You know you are having a great vacation when your biggest daily dilemma is whether to enjoy the sunset from the beach, the grass or the lanai. The beach, pool and small but adequate work-out room are a 3 minute stroll from the front door with restaurants and shopping just a quick 5-7 minute walk away.  The parking is convenient and the entrance from the road is controlled by a manned gate with fun and friendly security guards.

Elua Village is spread out over 24 perfectly manicured acres and is low density, something that is rare these days.  It is peaceful and provides a sense of respite, which is why we keep returning.  Randy and Julie have captured the essence of aloha the island is known for and put it into their unit, giving guests the feeling of being welcomed and appreciated.  You will not be disappointed in Elua 701.

OUR TENTH VISIT TO eLUA 701!

We’ve been visiting Wailea each year for more than a decade, and our favorite place to stay there is Randy and Julie’s unit 701 at Wailea Elua Village.  We’ve stayed there many times and will definitely be returning.  The unit is thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable.  It’s spacious and beautiful.  The views from the deck down to the ocean are spectacular.  And it’s always a pleasure to deal with Randy.    

701’s location on the Wailea coast is really perfect for us.  Each morning we can walk along the beach-side walkway to enjoy the flowers and the breeze, listen to the birds, get coffee at the Whale’s Tale, and spot whales off the coast. Elua is close to some of our favorite restaurants and golf courses.

Wailea Elua Village is beautifully landscaped. The pool area adjacent to the beach is a great way to spend an hour or two reading and listening to the waves. The sunsets can’t be beat.

THE BEST OF WAILEA AND MAUI: eLUA 701

Maui no ka ‘oi and Elua 701 no ka ‘oi.  We were delighted to spend yet another year celebrating holidays on Maui, and once again had a fabulous stay in this beautiful condominium. 

This unit and the location of the Elua village property are simply the best the island has to offer.  The beautifully renovated and wonderfully appointed condo offer everything you will need for a great Wailea vacation – from the chef’s kitchen, to the comfortable bedrooms to the spacious living space which blends into the lanai which provides one of the best views avaialble on south Maui. 

We return each year and for the past several years have made the Elua complex and 701 our vacation home.  We have had wonderful stays at this incredible condo, and we are already planning our return visit. 

There is so much to love about this property – the beautifully maintained Elua Village grounds, the quiet location, the peaceful morning sunrises, the remarkable sunset views – either beachside or from the condo lanai.  Elua 701 is conveniently located, within a short walk of the Shops at Wailea, and literally a stone’s throw from Elua Beach and the wonderful oceanside walk that runs the length of Wailea.  You are also incredibly close to Wailea golf, the Wailea – Makena area, food and shopping in Kihei, and only a short drive to other parts of Maui.

In a word – Elua 701 is a gem.  We hope to return for years to come and can recommend everything about this property – one of the best on south Maui.

We had an amazing time staying at the Elua 701 condo. The condo was very well furnished and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The location was perfect, right next to the beach with the ocean view. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner on the patio every day. There is a pool, a BBQ area, and a gym. There is even a pickleball court. We played with my wife every day. The owner, Randy, was very responsive and made sure that everything was taken care of. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Maui.

All of the praises for Elua 701 in previous reviews are absolutely accurate & true!  This property is perfectly located in the lushly landscaped & quiet Elua Village development in Wailea (our favorite part of Maui).  A gorgeous beach,  scenic walking path, restaurants, luxury hotels & shopping are within walking distance.     

Randy & Julie's home was absolutely perfect for us (2 couples).  Not only is the property well located but it has beautifully & thoughtfully been remodeled & furnished.  It is sunny,  bright  & immaculate!  With  loads of attention to detail, there is an obvious desire by the owners for guests to enjoy, feel comfortable & appreciate being in Maui.  We loved the fully stocked kitchen,  deluxe linens & carefully chosen artwork (still in awe of the handcrafted dining room table & chairs).  And what could be better than a glass of wine & a jaw-dropping sunset from the lanai?

Cannot express enough how much we appreciated working with Randy & Julie. Great communication before, during & after our stay.  They made everything easy & were always available with recommendations & helpful tips to enhance our visit.

Our only regret was having to leave this gorgeous place - our stay was too short.  Having vacationed in many rental homes over the years, we're delighted to have found Randy & Julie & Elua 701.  We're putting this home at the top of our list when we next return to Maui ---- hopefully soon.

This condo is in the perfect location with easy access to the pool and the beach.  The furnishings both indoor and outdoor are fantastic.  The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are comfortable with plenty of linens.  The laundry station is so convenient.  We used the beach chairs and umbrella numerous times.  The Lanai is huge with comfortable chairs and tables and ceiling fan - we spent breakfasts outside and often returned to the lanai for happy hour!  The grounds are outstanding with bright flowers, well maintained gardens and fish pond.  The pavilion at the ocean side pool is very well equipped and we made use of the kitchen (fridge and ice machine), water bottle refill station and of course the gym.  We took advantage of all that this beautiful property has to offer.  When we had had enough sun, we took a very short walk to The Shoppes of Wailea for great shopping and happy hour.  Spectacular all around - you couldn’t ask for more.  The owners are very pleasant to deal with.  You will not be disappointed.

I have always disliked booking vacation rentals through rental agents. They add almost zero value, many times know very little about the properties, and charge a commission for doing almost nothing.

That is why Lela and I were so happy to find Randy and Julie renting Elua 701 directly, without all the usual middleman add-on charges. When contacted by email a few months ago to set up our Elua 701 vacation, regardless of time of day Randy quickly answered my questions and very thoughtfully provided several pages of useful information about places to see, things to do, and places to eat. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Elua 701 is every bit as wonderful as all the previous reviews have portrayed it to be. It is newly remodeled to a very high standard, clean, bright, comfortable, superbly outfitted with all the kitchen gear you could ever possibly need, comfortable beds, high-end bathroom fixtures and linens and towels, electrically operated floor to ceiling blinds on all windows and patio doors provide a convenient touch, a great location close to the beach, and all this is provided at a price that is less than most other Elua Village rentals that are not nearly as good as Elua 701 (we have already stayed at those other properties in previous years).

We got up early every morning to stroll along the walking path on the beachfront that runs past the Marriott, Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, and Fairmont hotels. We stopped to get coffee and people-watch at the Marriott beachside snack bar, and then came back to the condo to have a quiet breakfast at the corner table on the patio that provides a great view of the ocean. On most days we went out to lunch, and worked our way through Monkeypod Kitchen (twice- great food and service), Four Seasons (twice- great food and service), Grand Wailea, and Pita Paradise. We also had two dinners out, once at Leilani’s in Kaanapali (great food, atmosphere, and ocean view at sunset), and at Kimo’s in Lahaina (great food, atmosphere, and of course their signature fabulous Hula Pie :-) ). Food shopping for other meals was very easy at Safeway in Kihei, and at Island Food Market at The Shops At Wailea next door to Elua Village.

Julie and Randy have worked very hard and obviously take great pride in the experience they have provided with Elua 701. We thank them for that and will certainly be returning in the near future.

Quiet at night, only the peaceful sound of ocean waves. Beautiful view from the lanai. Doves coo after sunrise. By far, our favorite place to stay on Maui. A three minute walk to a sandy beach or a private grassy knoll beside the beach for sunbathing and watching sunsets. Fantastic snorkeling, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Fabulous oceanfront walking path along the best resorts on the island. A private pickleball court and lovely pools on the beautifully manicured Elua property. Be active or do nothing. Condo is immaculate and professionally decorated. Beds are just the right firmness for a wonderful night's sleep. Equipped with anything you need (sharp knives, scissors, quality kitchen and barware, beach chairs, towels & cooler). Owners are extremely responsive. We can't find a single thing we'd suggest for the condo or Elua Village. Anxious to go back!

ELUA 701 - A Lovely Experience

Cindy, Ryan and I want to thank you for the lovely experience in Elua 701.  It is such an elegant space and so fitting for Maui.  The decor is so Hawaii and intriguing.  I found it an entertaining  daily experience.  The space is well stocked with utensils, supplies and an impressive array of cocktail glassware.  I was so appreciative of beach chairs and umbrella.... what a score!!!  Ryan was just as happy lying literally in the sand!

We felt so at home in this space.  The view of the ocean from the patio was as treat and so soothing.  Morning coffee there was that much more special.

The access to the beach was so easy and quick.  It was literally was just down the way, almost as if it were in the backyard. Cindy had such a great time paddle boarding and snorkeling with the local sea turtles.

Not only is the unit so close to the beach, it is equally close to the high end shops at Wailea.  Now that is convenience.  The grounds are equally elegant, and the two pools and jacuzzi were a great way to end the day.... let alone cocktails on the patio.

In closing, we can't wait to return.

ELUA VILLAGE 701 - OUR FAVORITE MAUI LOCATION

Another great stay at Elua Village 701.  This was our second stay at Randy and Julie’s home and we enjoyed this stay just as much as the first.  We have stayed in Maui approximately 20 times and this is our favorite place to stay.  The location at Elua Village is perfect for a stay in Maul.  It is just a short drive to the best beaches in Maui and provides easy access to most of the other attractions on Maui.  The upgraded condo is well equipped with all the comforts of home and provides an excellent ocean view.

Randy is easy to work with when making reservations and very responsive to questions.  In addition, the restaurant and activity recommendations provided prior to your stay and in the home are spot on.

We are looking forward to our next stay later this year and again in 2023.

We’ve stayed in Elua village before but never at Elua701, we would definitely come back! This is an upgraded version of all the others. It is beautifully located with a view of the ocean and has a spacious lanai. The condo is quiet, feels isolated and is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked. Bedrooms are super comfortable, baths modernized. Beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler are provided.

Elua village grounds are beautifully maintained by friendly staff. There are two nice clean pools, one located with beach views. They have a gated grassy spot on the point which is a great place to watch the sunsets. The beach in front of Elua village is a great spot to swim and snorkel.

The owners, Julie and Randy are communicative and give helpful information throughout the rental process. They are excited to share their lovely home. We’ve never had an easier condo rental.

Luxurious vacationing at its best! We highly recommend Elua 701.

OUR MAUI FAVORITE

We first traveled to the Islands (Oahu, Maui) over 30 years ago.  We have been every year since 2002, with a COVID exception year in 2020.  We generally visit 2 islands on each trip.  We have stayed in hotels, condos and homes. There are only a few places we go back to on a regular basis.  On Maui that is Elua 701 for several reasons.  The unit itself.  The location of the property.  The owners.

The property has always been well maintained, appropriately furnished and well stocked.  It has been renovated since our last visit and is now even more impressive.

Going through the door your eyes will be quickly drawn to the right.  Step down and you will be in an open area which includes the kitchen, living room and dining room with a bar area containing a good selection of glasses for your favorite beverage.  You will look through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors on two sides to the lanai (patio) and beyond that through an array of palm trees you will see the sparkling ocean.  One of our favorite spots is the tall table in the corner of the lanai.  Grab your favorite morning beverage and enjoy.  You will probably go back there with your favorite evening beverage.

Going left from the front door takes you into the bedroom area.  It is a more secluded and quiet area. It is a good sleeping area.  There are two bedrooms with large beds and more than adequate closet and dresser space for your belongings.  Furthest back is the master bedroom with a connecting bathroom area.   The bathroom for the second bedroom is a short walk across the hall.  This bathroom contains a washer and dryer.  Lighting in both bathrooms is more than adequate and includes some natural light.  There is a closet in the hall between the bedrooms which contains linens and beach towels.  On the lanai is a large storage container where you will find beach chairs and umbrellas.

Wailea, where the unit is located, is a busy area.  The Elua Village location has good buffers against the activity going on outside the property.  There is no noise intrusion from outside the property.  Elua 701 gets very limited vehicle and foot traffic around its location.  There are units closer to the ocean but they tend to get more internal foot traffic passing by the lanais.  We prefer more privacy than what you get on the lanais situated along the walkways that run through the property.

You have good options when you are ready to wander out.  Go down the stairs by the front door.  Turn right and you are a short walk to the main pool area, adjacent to the ocean.  You can enter through the back gate, go through the covered pavilion area and you will be at the pool.  The pool area is popular with families with small children but it remains quiet.  There is a designated quiet pool on the property but we have never had any reason to check it out. Lounge chairs and umbrella’s facing the ocean are set up and ready to use in the area just beyond the pool.  There is good separation so you enjoy relative privacy.  The exercise room is located in the pool area.  It is relatively modest and had older equipment when we visited.  In our opinion, it could use an upgrade.

If the ocean is your objective, walk out the front door and turn left at the bottom of the stairs.  When you reach the beach you will see that most people have set up to the right, under a grove of trees.  If you go left for more privacy be sure to set up along the outer limits of the beach.  The waves tend to come in higher in this area.  We had to chase beach shoes that were going out with the receding waves!   You will notice that most people in the water are off the tree grove area which has a volcano rock outcropping and is good for snorkeling and tide pool exploration. There is a smaller volcanic rock outcropping on the other side of the beach which gets fewer visitors.  We have seen turtles there from time to time.

If you want some exercise, the paved path along the water in Wailea is one of our all-time favorite places for walking. Turn left on the path from the Elua property.  It gets busy early with runners and walkers so be prepared for those coming up from behind you.  The runners are polite.  Let them pass.  The first thing you will come to at the end of the Elua property is a gated, ocean side area with lounge chairs and cabanas.  That is also Elua property which you can access with the property access code you will receive when you arrive.  There is rarely anyone there.  It is also great for sunsets if you want to leave the unit.  You will walk along the water the entire length of the paved beach path.   There are volcanic rock outcroppings all the way so it is fun to watch the water interacting with the land.  You will pass a couple of high-end hotels and condos along the way.  The path will end at a park between the Kea Lani resort property and the Polo Beach condo property.  You can turn around and head back or you can go through the park and parking lot, go up the hill, turn left and head back to Elua along the main road through Wailea.  It seems to be a little longer route heading back this way so remember that you keep going until you pass the shopping center and enter through Elua’s front gate.  If you head back via the ocean path it actually extends a short distance beyond the Elua property.  If you want more walking challenge you will see a path that takes you to the beach behind the Andaz hotel property. You can walk multiple beaches headed in the direction of Kihei.  We never were able to walk all the beach area we could see.

If you want shopping, in our opinion, the best shopping center on Maui is not far from Elua’s entry gate. From the unit go out to the parking area, head up the hill to the front gate.  From there turn right.  It is a short walk to the upscale Shops at Wailea with a wide selection of stores and restaurants.  Nothing is cheap here, so be prepared.  If you want something to eat, two of our favorite restaurants are a short distance up the hill from the front of the shopping center. One is Monkeypod Kitchen, the other is Matteo’s Osteria.  We would suggest reservations well in advance.   Once you make your final payment for Elua 701, the owners will provide you with an extensive list of eating options and other useful information.

Finally, the owners, Julie and Randy.  They take true pride in their property, they maintain and stock it at an extremely high level, far higher than most owners, they give you helpful information in well in advance of your arrival,  they give you more information than any owner we have worked with and are accessible if you need to contact them.  We have only worked with one other owner we consider comparable. We are delighted Julie and Randy are willing to share their property with us.

Our advice for you—take the opportunity to experience and enjoy Elua 701.

Elua 701 No Ka Oi

We were lucky to have the opportunity to have stayed with Randy and Julie in Jan 2016, and again this year to experience the magnificent remodel. We were thrilled by the condo the way it was six years ago, but were amazed by the transformation of the condo into a magical place in the middle of paradise. All that was done to the condo physically, plus all the furniture, art and amenities were carefully curated by Randy and Julie, and their joyful energy is ever-present. Staying in Elua 701 truly feels like visiting the home of friends who are warm, hospitable and have great taste!

We were together with another couple for a portion of our stay. We are cooks. We had everything we needed to entertain as we would at home. The kitchen--cookware, dishes, glassware--was fully equipped, and all was what we might find in our own kitchens.

The condo is in what I consider a perfect location on the beautiful Wailea-Elua grounds. It's sort of halfway between up to the friendly security guard booth that leads to nearby Wailea restaurants, plus the Shops at Wailea, and down to the common grassy knoll, swimming pool and beach.

Randy makes booking effortless. He's super helpful, responsive, clearly loves his Maui home, and invites you to love it, too. I have been astounded that after 40+ visits to Kihei-Wailea, I still learn about new things to do by reading the lists Randy and Julie compile to help their guests have great Maui experiences. Very grateful to both of them.

Elua 701 - Stunning Remodel

My family and I recently stayed at Randy and Julie’s beautiful Elua condo.  We have stayed at Elua many times in the past, but I can comfortably say this remodeled unit was the most beautiful we’ve been in.  Randy and Julie spared no expense in the upgrades from the original unit.  Wonderful furnishings with all the extras you’d want.  The welcome goodie basket was perfect.  The mattresses were superb.  Great night sleep for everyone.  The kitchen was fully equipped.  The view from the patio was wonderful for morning coffee and evening dinners. 

Elua Village has everything you’d want in a Maui resort.  Beautiful beach, swimming pool and exercise room for those who might use it.  The security personnel is the best.  Super friendly and very accommodating.  I had to phone one night at 10pm regarding neighbors who were a little noisy.  Security immediately came and quieted them. 

Randy and Julie were great to work with.  Immediate response to any questions. 

If you’re looking for a two bedroom and two bathroom unit, look no further. This is the best.

We had a great time staying at Wailea Elua 701!  The check in process was very smooth.  The staff at the gate were very helpful and friendly.  The grounds are beautifully maintained with ample parking and very quiet. The condo is beautifully remodeled and decorated, and it was very clean and well-appointed.  We loved it!  Our favorite part was enjoying our morning coffee out on the patio, soaking up the ocean view and listening to the tropical birds - it was magical.  We highly recommend staying here, not only for the quality of the property but also because the owners are so helpful with excellent communication and ensuring guest satisfaction is their top priority.

Randy and Julie's condo was exquisite in every way! It was a perfect place to stay for two couples.

Elua 701 was beautifully decorated, well cared for, and amply supplied with beach equipment, linens, and kitchen accessories. We especially loved the barbecue and collection of glassware for evening drinks. The tea lights and patio furnishings were wonderful for evening meals and conversation on the deck.

The gorgeous view out to Ulua Beach and the ocean beyond was amazing. We could not have asked for a more lovely and spacious place to enjoy the Elua Village property.

The rental process was smooth and accommodating from start to finish. We hope to return soon!

Wailea Perfection

I cannot say enough about Randy and Julie's beautiful condo in Elua Village.  The views, the location, the amenities, the decor… it’s truly fantastic in all ways. We have stayed in a variety of places in Wailea and this condo is now our absolute favorite. The view from the lanai absolutely cannot be beat. Every morning we had coffee on the lanai, then went for a run along the walking path, and then hopped in the ocean to cool off.

Ulua Beach is also hard to beat (we tried… we visited many beaches in South Maui) but always returned to Ulua wondering why we left: the boogie boarding and snorkeling are both great at Ulua Beach.

The Elua Village grounds/landscaping are also lush and stunning! The head landscaper deserves an award.  

Restaurant reservations were tough to get this year due to COVID restrictions and island popularity, so we usually picked up food to go from local restaurants (so many amazing options!), and ate on the lanai as we watched the sunset.

I could go on and on, but you cannot go wrong with Randy and Julie's beautiful Maui home. Book it.

My boyfriend and another couple spent one blissful week at Elua 701 in June. This was hands down the nicest and most well maintained rental property we have ever stayed at. Everything was spotless and even better than the pictures! 

The location is absolutely stunning, situated right in the middle of multiple 4-5 star luxury resorts, overlooking the beautiful Ulua Beach. Several of the other resorts and condos don't have the direct beach access that Elua Village has which was a huge plus for our group. Not to mention "Private Point" the grassy perch overlooking the ocean and the best place to catch the sunset each night. Make sure to grab some snorkels to see the green sea turtles that hang out at the beach too!

The condo is also a stones throw away from high end stores that are walking distance or a short drive away. If you're looking to get a birds eye view of Wailea, definitely make a stop up to the Birdcage in Hotel Wailea (<5 min away) for cocktails at sunset and grab some food at Monkeypod.

Randy was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He made sure we knew all the COVID protocols, gave excellent restaurant and recreational recommendations, and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed to have a great vacation.

My friends are already trying to plan a trip to return back to Maui and especially back to Randy and Julie's condo. I almost don't want to post such a glowing review since I'm afraid it will become too competitive to come back!

If you're looking to stay in Maui--look no further, Elua is exactly where you want to be!

Wow! Hard to believe our second time staying in this wonderful condo was better than the first, but it truly was.

The condo has been completely remodeled since our last stay two years ago, and it couldn’t have been nicer. Everything is very modern and clean. Wonderful kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds in both rooms. I’ve always felt this is the absolute best place on Maui to stay… at the Elua Village condos… and having researched other units there, I never found one better. It was paradise for a whole week. We walked to dinner most nights, as so many good restaurants dot the Wailea coastline. And we drove daily to Kihei to pick up yummy lunches that didn’t break the bank. But mostly we just spent time at the beautiful pool area and beach. I love swimming in the ocean and did it daily. And didn’t need a car to get there.

You can’t go wrong with this condo. The owners Randy & Julie went well beyond the call by allowing us to change our reservation three times in a year due to all the COVID-19 madness. They could not have been more accommodating. My wife and I hope to return there many times in the years ahead. We both agree it’s the best vacation condo we have ever stayed at.

Great Elua 701 Vacation

Aloha to all. We just competed an 11 day stay at Randy and Julie’s Elua condo 701. Our stay was wonderful.

We had often walked by the Eula property during past trips to Wailea and finally got the opportunity to stay there. The condo was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the tastefully decorated remodel, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The large covered outdoor deck was perfect for enjoying our evening meals while watching the sunset. My husband enjoys cooking as a hobby and the kitchen had everything we needed. He certainly appreciated the quality of the out door grill ( Weber Genesis ) and that is was very clean, which is usually a problem with ordinary condo rentals. The location of the condo made for an easy walk going to the beach and pool.

Randy and Julie’s attention to detail regarding the reservation, check in process, and even helping us manage some of the new COVID travel questions was incredibly helpful. The were impressively responsive to us through both text and emails. Overall this is one of our best and most comfortable trips to the Islands over the last decade of Hawaii travel.

A great place to relax

We spent a week and half in December, 2020.

Randy was very prompt and helpful in his communications. He provided detailed and timely updates on arrival and testing protocols. The condo is perfectly located several minutes’ walk from a sandy beach. Parking is easy and the grounds are spectacular.  Condo has a great view of the ocean and looks and feels luxurious. Randy and Julie did a beautiful job with a recent remodel.  Each detail was carefully planned and executed.  We enjoyed our breakfast and dinners on the spacious lanai watching boats and beautiful sunsets over the ocean. Having a covered Lanai allowed us to have lunch on the patio even when it was hot.

We enjoyed our vacation so much that we already booked it for the next year.

Lovely unit at a great location

We spent 10 days in unit 701 in mid December. The unit is beautifully finished, furnished, and well stocked with kitchen ware, towels etc. The remodel that was done was clearly well thought out, with lighting and powered shades where needed.

Communication with Randy was excellent and the whole process was all we could have hoped.

Also, a shout out to the staff at Elua Village. They are all very friendly folks.

Elua Village is a beautiful, lush, property with it own beach, set amongst luxury hotels in Wailea. What made our holiday complete was the home we were staying in.

Randy and Julie have recently totally renovated and furnished their home. Everything ( the floors, blinds, appliances, furnishings) is of it the finest quality,.

The home is spacious and a short walk through the beautiful grounds to the private beach. Towels, umbrella, beach chairs are all there. You will really enjoy staying here

Great Choice On Maui!

My wife and I just spent a wonderful week on Maui enjoying the Elua #701 condo. The location couldn't have been better. Just a short walk to the beach and pool area. A number of fine restaurants within walking distance. I personally feel that the Elua Village is the best place to stay on Maui. And I've stayed at several area hotels prior to this visit. And the Smith condo #701 was a pleasure to stay in. Very clean and neat. Wonderful outside deck to enjoy the views of the sea. Quite spacious both in and out. Maui on spring break week was super busy, but it didn't feel like it staying here. The Smiths also were very helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions that all proved right on. One of the best, most relaxing vacations we have enjoyed in years...without doing a whole lot!

Couldn't recommend this unit or it's owners any higher. The unit is in fine shape (and is apparently undergoing a remodel this summer!). My wife and I like to stay in nice places when we travel. This was certainly one of the best we have enjoyed. In fact we just booked it again for next year!

Randy and Julie's condo is the complete package! Check-in was instant and easy as was check-out. The condo was very clean and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking and dining in. Honestly it was the best-equipped kitchen we have seen in a VRBO. The lanai was very roomy and we spent most mornings there having our coffee while looking for whales in the ocean. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach and pools. Can't say enough good things about the condo.
